Bluebirds…Garden Visitors
Happy hour happens everyday since I put the birdbath in the garden. Late in the afternoon the neighborhood birds start gathering for a drink and a quick dip. They’re all very civilized about it. Bluebirds, cardinals, sparrows, house wrens, and mockingbirds collect on the powerlines, rooflines and in the nearby trees all waiting their turn. My favorite visitors are the bluebirds.
Join me for a fun peek into the world of bath time…
The approach begins by waiting on the roofline for a turn at the bath.
Cautiously a bird lands and checks out the bath making sure the coast is clear.
Slowly the bluebird wades in for a quick dip.
Once the bird senses that it is safe, bath time begins in earnest.
Feathers cleaned and fluffed, this bluebird is refreshed!
Invite visitors to your garden with a birdbath. Keep it full of fresh, clean water. The joy of watching visitors in your garden begins with you providing a safe, friendly environment.
Happy birdwatching!
